I’ve been teaching a course on Social Entrepreneurship since 2024. The students are Japanese undergraduates who are interested in social entrepreneurship and hope to be inspired by visiting and taking a course in Portland.
The course begins with a review of the many ways to do social entrepreneurship, including varied purposes and structures. We then look more deeply at fundamental culture, strategy, and marketing choices companies make. The course ends with students presenting their own social entrepreneurship ideas.
Along the way, students listen to lectures, read articles, complete formative assessments, and engage in discussions with their peers.

The higher education landscape is evolving rapidly and we’re all still figuring it out together. I’d love to help. I’m good at making complex things seem simple and designing processes.
I’m #OPENTOWORK and eager to take on well-paid contract work or to be considered for an internal role.
